We want to make AI work for everyone.

Delivering the value of AI by making it disappear.

We can’t possibly all get the full value of AI through endless prompts and walls of text - there has to be a better way.

That’s why we’re building Genuix to be the application layer for AI. Our platform transforms data and model output into intuitive, interactive applications that feel familiar, not futuristic. No prompts. No complexity. Just purposeful experiences that put AI to work for users.

AI is the new UI

For decades, Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs) have made technology accessible for everyone. Intuitive, interactive interfaces were the catalyst for the explosion of personal computing in the 80s and 90s. Now command line is back disguised as chat boxes, dragging us back to technology dependent syntax, context, and engineering.

Genuix is a return to usability, a generative UI platform that powers application content and user interface with AI so interactions happen through familiar app components like menus, buttons, and workflows. This makes AI invisible yet powerful, delivering value without requiring technical expertise or prompt engineering.

Our Roots

Genuix was born at Teknikos with a team that has spent decades defining innovation and usability for emerging technologies. Our work harmonizing hardware, software, and user expereince has consistently proven that technology works best when it adapts to people - not the other way around.

FAQs

  • Pronounce it like how you’d describe it - it’s Genius.

  • Genuix is a development platform for AI-powered apps. Instead of open-ended chat with language models, Genuix moves all the prompting and text output to the background so AI looks familiar, and works like any website or application.

  • Genuix is the application layer for AI. The platform transforms data from connected sources and text output from AI into graphical user interface (GUI) like the menus, buttons, text fields, infographics, and images you see and use every day on websites and applications.

  • Prompts have their place! We’re not here to eliminate the chat interface. In fact, chat is as much a part of the Genuix platform as any other component in our library.

We just don’t think retraining the global workforce in prompt engineering is a viable strategy to unlock the value of AI for everyone. We don’t think every technology user on the planet should have to learn to prompt for value. That’s why we built Genuix: Why not make AI work for everyone?

  • Open any modern app or website, and the purpose is clear: Complete a task, email a colleague, check a calendar, doomscroll a feed. AI technology can connect and add intelligence to all our data and actions. Genuix puts that value to work.

Purposeful apps have context, objectives, and functionality built in. There’s repeatability - do the same thing again tomorrow for the same result. There’s continuity - pick up where you left off. There’s feedback, the ability to go back, undo, retrace. There is no guesswork on what to do or how to do it.

That’s what Genuix apps do for AI - all that intelligence and value put to purpose.

  • We thought you’d never ask!

    1. Prompt engineering is wasteful and cloud consumption costs money. Genuix gates model activation behind on-demand user input - we call these “micro-prompts”. This function limits consumption to only what users really want and need. On top of that, Genuix optimizes consumption with context and prompt generation services built to minimize excess costs.

    2. Cloud compute costs money and local compute does not. Genuix features a hybrid-first architecture that enables applications to natively optimize inferencing workloads across local, edge, and cloud compute. Reducing reliance on the cloud reduces cloud costs (and saves energy, too!)

    3. Prompt churn, cognitive load, endless walls of text, model variability, etc. all pose real costs to productivity. Training employees in prompt engineering costs time and money. Purposeful apps from Genuix deliver AI value without the overhead.

  • Hybrid AI combines on-device processing with cloud-based AI services. It optimizes AI workloads between small language models running on local hardware like CPUs, GPUs, and NPUs, with cloud platforms like Azure OpenAI. Local inferencing has security, privacy, and latency benefits that balance the power and scale of cloud compute.

We believe that hybrid AI is the path to AI adoption at scale, and have made it core to the Genuix platform.

  • What can’t they do!?

Genuix apps just need purpose and context. However AI can be put to use, it can be put to purpose in a Genuix app.
